Type A immersion oil is the ideal choice for general-purpose microscopy. The low viscosity lends itself to fast, reliable application without bubbles. Easy application and cleanup make Type A immersion oil ideal for students and occasional users. Immersion oil is necessary for high magnification microscopy when using oil-immersion objective lenses; do not use with dry or water-immersion lenses. Notable notes: Refractive Index ND=1.515, Volume 1 oz (30 mL), Storage 4°C to 40°C. Use only with objective lenses designed for oil-immersion. Always follow standard safety protocols.
